If you’ve been searching for a date idea that’s fun, a little bit chaotic (in the best way), and pairs perfectly with wine then we’ve found it. And yes, it involves dogs, painting outside the lines, and a deliciously dry rosé.
Recently, we teamed up with BabaG Grooming and Pinot Petcasso to create a one-of-a-kind paint-and-sip session where guests painted portraits of their pups with their pups right there beside them.
And of course… Glassy was there pouring the wine. For this event we choose a classic crowd pleaser, a crisp La Vieille Ferme Rosé served into our premium shatterproof glasses. Because nothing pairs better with creativity and canine chaos than good rosé and worry-free glassware.
Whether you’re planning a first date or a catch-up with friends you haven't seen in too long, here’s why a dog-friendly paint-and-sip might just be the best idea you haven’t tried yet.
It’s Impossible Not to Have Fun
Traditional dates can feel a bit stiff… sitting across from someone, making polite conversation, wondering if it’s too soon to talk about your dog.
Solution? Bring the dog.
It’s the Perfect Low-Pressure Way to Connect
Activities make dates and friend catch-ups feel natural. Instead of sitting and talking at each other, you’re creating something together (even if it’s a masterpiece only a dog-mum could love).
Painting keeps things light, playful, and surprisingly bonding. Add dogs into the mix, and suddenly the pressure’s off, the jokes start flowing, and everyone loosens up. Especially once the rosé hits the Glassy glasses.
Pups Get a Social Outing Too
While the humans sipped and painted, the dogs had their own mini social club. New smells, new friends, and lots of pats. For many pups, that’s the perfect evening out.
And for owners? A guilt-free outing because your furry bestie is included.
